Properties of Linen
Linen is both cool and thermal. During hot weather, it maintains body temperature by absorbing natural sweat, while in cold climates, it retains the heat emitted by the wearer's body. Additionally, linen is notable for its breathable properties due to the fiber's weave and the natural properties of flaxseed, allowing air to circulate and providing greater comfort to the wearer.
Our
Certification
Currently, flax fiber represents less than 0.5% of global textile fiber production, growing by 133% between 2010 and 2020. Its production is concentrated in Europe, mainly in the coastal regions of France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, as flax requires a cool, humid climate for cultivation. As of January 2024, all the linen we use to produce each B Moon piece with care and dedication will be certified by the European Linen and Hemp Alliance, ensuring traceability, sustainability, and excellence in quality standards.
